IS THIS THE END OF ISRAEL?

A vital interview with Colonel Lawrence Wilkerson

By Claudio Resta

Glenn Diesen’s latest interview with Colonel Lawrence Wilkerson has just been released, offering an extremely critical and alarming analysis of the conflict with Iran and the future of Israel.

It’s important to emphasize that Colonel Wilkerson has gained firsthand experience at the heart of American power: as a United States Army officer, professor, and later a key figure in military training, but above all as Colin Powell’s chief of staff (2002–2005), and thus within the decision-making process during the Iraq war.

Trump’s management and Netanyahu’s influence – Wilkerson believes that President Trump is “up to his neck” in a crisis he doesn’t know how to manage and that he is using the constant countdowns for the destruction of Iranian infrastructure simply to “buy time.”

According to the colonel, Trump was dragged into this position by Benjamin Netanyahu, who apparently has no sympathy for the American president and is willing to “take him to hell with him.”

Criticism of US military strategy – Wilkerson calls the current military command’s management the “worst performance” ever seen. He denounces the misuse of special operations forces (such as the Rangers and the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment) in attempted quick strikes on islands in the Gulf, aiming to emulate what happened in Venezuela.

He argues that there is no clear mission and that military leaders are wasting billions without results.

The possible collapse of Israel – One of the most powerful aspects of the interview is the prediction that Israel will disappear as a Jewish state in the Levant.

Lawrence Wilkerson: Israel Could Disappear and Launch a Nuclear Strike:

Wilkerson cites several signs of this impending collapse:

  • Personnel crisis: The recall of an additional 400,000 reservists is seen as an act of desperation, given that 30% of the previous 300,000 failed to report.
  • Military failure: The IDF has failed to defeat Hamas in Gaza and is suffering heavy losses in Lebanon against Hezbollah.
  • Internal collapse: Wilkerson describes an Israeli leadership gripped by hysteria and a military on the verge of structural collapse.
  • Nuclear risk: The colonel cites information received from Professor Ted Postol, according to which there is a 75-80% probability that Iran already has nuclear weapons and the technology to mount them on missiles.

  • He also expresses fear that Netanyahu, if forced into a corner, might decide to “let the genie out of the bottle” and use nuclear weapons first, triggering a global exchange involving Russia and China.
  • Global Economic Consequences – Wilkerson warns that the world is already in recession and heading toward a global depression.
  • The blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, where approximately 4,000 ships are stranded, is disrupting the supply of crucial raw materials such as helium (essential for sophisticated chips) and urea, bringing the global economy to its knees.
  • Assessment of US Leadership – The analysis concludes with a harsh attack on Washington’s leadership, characterizing it as a collection of “fools” and “baboons” (specifically citing figures such as Pete Hegseth and Mike Johnson) who use religion as a political weapon and lack technical expertise, especially in critical areas such as nuclear energy management.

According to Wilkerson, this “imperial arrogance” stems from a misinterpretation of the end of the Cold War, mistakenly seen as a military victory rather than a diplomatic success.
