Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated emphatically that the US attacked Iran because the U.S. government learned Israel was on the verge of attacking Iran (obviously Israel planted that false info throughout the Trump administration).  Rubio also said the Trump administration knew that if Israel carried out an unprovoked attack, Iran would immediately attack after U.S. military across the Middle East.

Therefore, the U.S Armed Forces were ordered to attack Iran preemptively in order to minimize the number of American casualties. If the U.S. had waited until Israel attacked Iran, the administration said US military personnel would have suffered many more casualties.

That is really one a hell of statement by the SoS Rubio because it put the blame squarely on Israel’s shoulders.
