Looks like Netanyahu wants to attack Iran before the Israeli elections so that those elections can be cancelled.
Right now, Israeli jets are conducting probing exercises in an attempt to identify air defence sites and as many Iranian missile launchers as possible (using satellites).
Netanyahu wants Iran to attack Israel so that he can claim Iran is the aggressor – even though Iran has never been the aggressor. Iran is unlikely to play ball.
If Israel attacks, this will be the third time (12 day war, 40 day war, and now) that Israel has attacked Iran and dragged the US in behind it.
Trump is likely to wait until after the Midterms and then hit Iran hard until the democrat house and senate are sworn in early in January.
Alternatively, there could be domestic false flag attacks in order to put the US elections on hold.
