Three commonly recognized historic eras have passed since the European Enlightenment—which evolved around the 16th and 17th century. Those subsequent eras are referred to as:
- Industrial Revolution — this era began in the late 18th century, transforming economies from agrarian to industrial.
- Modern Era — spanning from the late 19th century to the mid-20th century, characterized by rapid technological advancements.
- Postmodern Era — emerging in the late 20th century, this era challenges established narratives and embraces diversity.
Whereas, Google’s AI summarizes The Enlightenment as a “major European intellectual and philosophical movement during the 17th and 18th centuries that emphasized human reason, science, and individual liberty over tradition and absolute authority. Also known as the Age of Reason, it reshaped modern views on government, religion, and human rights.
Key Ideas
- Reason and Science: Thinkers believed logical thinking and the scientific method could uncover universal laws and solve society’s deepest problems.
- Natural Rights: Philosophers argued that all people are born with inherent rights, such as life, liberty, and property.
- The Social Contract: Society forms an unspoken agreement with its government; if a ruler becomes tyrannical or fails to protect natural rights, the people have a right to change or overthrow that government.
- Religious Tolerance: The movement strongly challenged church dogma and religious persecution, promoting secularism or personal freedom of conscience.
You can clearly appreciate the connection of these intellectual aspects of that European Enlightenment and our ancestral evolution via the American Revolution and the American Bill of Rights. We true Americans—who espouse American values—are still children of those times—and equally of following eras as well.
Yet, it seems that while we are now in the third decade of this 21st century there could be a new historical name or two to formulate, such as the stern Enlightenment—after all there sure is a lot of concern in the West for retaining various freedoms and legal rights such as the right to engage in intellectual freedom and free speech? Also, many of us do not believe any religious institution or conglomerate should dominate our lives (despite the fact that plenty of people want to declare America is a Christian or Judeo-Christian nation—which it is principally not—even if a majority of American people over the last few centuries have been believers of one Christian sect or another).
But what especially challenges this post-modern world? This question is being asked by some of us skeptical pessimists and fatalists who spend time thinking about historical and current political events? And not so surprising plenty of us are not so optimistic.
Still, we cannot argue that this is still an age of comforts and economic prosperity like no other—for some and a rather significant segment of the world’s population at that. For example, we tend to take for granted ho-hum realities like bathroom toilets flushing themselves, pressurized air-dryers drying our hands, and electric hair dryers tossing our shampooed glossiness. Even electric shoe shiners are on the market for the more affluent and dandified. This status is far from the days of grubby cowboys and dusty wagon trains covered with weeds.
But it is also, arguably (even as we realize that corruption is nothing new) an exaggerated era of corruption and influential billionaires, along with mass media deceit, big blocks of crooked politicians and massive government overlays. It very much seems that all three branches of government are now corrupt or highly politicized—and not just the DOJ and the FBI but rather many judges at different levels—in which we tax payers have nowhere to turn?
Equally our nation is continuing to experience super-high credit borrowing and indebtedness, second-rate to third rate educational systems that have become politicized like ideological indoctrination camps. Plus consider unfathomable military spending and official bureaucracies of classification and secrecy, Orwellian surveillance technology, robotic and artificial intelligence challenging the meaningfulness and usefulness of being human as in the value of life, and yes an age of multi-faceted anxiety. Amen.
The famous Chinese Curse, credited to some Chinese philosopher goes: “May you live in interesting times.” This of course goes far beyond fluctuating interest rates on the National debt.
Is anyone out there not imagining a pending day with inflationary or inflammatory levels of mental breakdown and social disarray?
And it very much seems there is a palpable level of anger and alarm in the body politic (that has been building for some significant time)?
But despite all this thus far described, here especially, is a separate paragraph presented to emphasize the hyper-Israeli influence and corruption that dominates across too much of the globe (especially in the West) and especially here in the United States. A Jewish diaspora has been, arguably, creating a global form of competitive domination in competition with various nations for decades (before Henry Ford’s book The International Jew) and this recognized reality remains a truism [regardless as to whether one calls this sentiment as anti-Semitism or not—writers of the series of articles known as Ford’s The Dearborn Independent were somewhat circumspect in there writing and frankly were over the target often enough even as they may have had their own biases.
And within this interpretation there lies a backdrop of a seemingly endless campaigns from some influential Zionist-Jews who are routinely crying about an endless onslaught of anti-Semitism, that of course, exists in a fashion that hates all Jews and hates them only because they are Jewish (or some throwback caricature like their ancestors killed Christ or a few murdered children within blood rituals).
Surely there are people who accuse some Jews of killing Christ and others of blood libel so these accusations have their place in history but are not likely the main reasons for animosities and criticism
No one in modernity can possibly know if Jesus Christ really lived (some scholars don’t think so) let alone how he died and why although some of the New Testament statements of his suggest plenty of animosity between Jewish sects back then. As to sacrificing children there are supposedly some echoes of such accusations but one would be hard pressed to claim to know beyond doubt.
So, of course, even and seemingly especially today, political discourse needs to focus on Jewish concerns more than for any other peoples, and predominantly Jews opinions, as seemingly the only people who matter above and beyond all others, and continue to be persecuted and abused—as they routinely remind the world (as now the entire world which has been turning away needs more reminding). Never forget!
But then we must remember that most of Jewish history has been predominately written by Jews themselves and so naturally it is as objective as one could possibly expect. Yes hyperbole. This is to say it would never occur to any people, specifically some prone to hyper-manipulation tactics, and who have learned through historical experience to abuse and psychologically exploit strategies of constant guilt-tripping, exaggerated and falsified historical stories, and un-ending narcissistic ethnocentric whining to manipulate other peoples and nations into extending special rights and considerations to them especially—due to their singular status of being the world’s constant victims—forever holding on to the eternal hubris of demanding an unique victimization status—as a series of ploys to exploit other naïve and goyim peoples everywhere across all seven continents.
Really, is not the only thing that truly matters to those who wield power is how much the world hates Jews—regardless of what else could be going on? Yes, and also how upset Jews may feel, yes, their sensibilities, their dander, and psychological equanimity, if people accuse some of their kind of real violations of true cruelty, carnage and mass death.
Why should any non-Jews perspectives and suffering matter to some of these complainers? Why should they have to be confronted with other peoples’ trauma and suffering—plenty of which they themselves have initiated?

Complaining is a bit like a primate gesture of making a lot of noise and spectacle to others in his presence. Plus, human primates get to articulate all manner of histrionics while beating symbolically beating on their chests. In fact are human language is so plastic and rich that complaints are mostly a series of words and thoughts blasted outward as a kind of debate—although not usually feuded over by equals but rather often dominated by people with the best capacities to argue with head-strong determination even despite real truth and reality.
This is why people like Mark Levin are so convincing in their suasion—they have mastered the art of wielding clout and psychological heft—despite whether their arguments are based on their own illusions or delusion (or outright lies):

Namely, to paraphrase, given modern technology, it takes an average of 2 to 2 and ½ hours to cremate one adult body today, and there is simply no possible mathematical way there could have been that many bodies cremated with the technology and facilities back in the 1940s Germany—at the so-called death camps as claimed. Could one argue there is some kind of hidden hatred in suppressing free speech? If some argue that certain words of phrases are equal to the manifestations of hatred, can’t it also be argued that denying people the right to free speech is equally a form of hatred? It seems so.

How about the settlers abusing, torturing and killing of Palestinians in the West Bank and in Gaza. Could one expect such bitter experiences to harbor hard feelings and desires? Of course.
Maybe there is a hell of lot more “fear of Jews” Judeo-phobia then there is “hatred of Jews” anti-Semitism? Why do we, in this age of modernity, hear so little about these kinds of fears?
But when one asks Google AI there already is a literature established that equally point the finger at those who are possessed by Judeophobia (as another form of anti-Semitism). How convenient. It could not possibly be the case that some people have had rational and substantiated reasons for fearing Jews or some Jews?
