Alex Jones, the former owner of InfoWars, on Tuesday said President Trump must be impeached over the Iran conflict, describing the situation as “absolutely out of control” and warning that the administration is preparing for a national draft.

“The big issue is how to stop Trump. And we have to have Congress go for the war powers. They’ve tried three times to vote on war powers — they’re supposed to authorize a war. This is a war; they’re getting the draft ready. If this isn’t a war, nothing’s a war. I mean, this is absolutely out of control,” Jones said during a live segment broadcast on the social platform X.

In March, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said the president had not ruled out the possibility of a draft for the Iran conflict.

“And so I’m calling for it right now: 25th Amendment, impeachment, whatever needs to happen to get this front and center, to get control of our country,” he added.

Jones, a well-known conspiracy theorist and former ally of the president, also said Trump’s support of the National Defense Authorization Act is “impeachable.”

The House passed the $1.15 trillion annual defense spending bill for fiscal 2027, which would help fund the conflict in Iran, despite the fact that Congress has not voted to approve the war overseas.

Some lawmakers have said the conflict violates the Constitution and skirts the War Powers Resolution, a federal law designed to limit the president’s ability to initiate or escalate military actions abroad without approval from Congress.

In April, Democrats pushed to oust Trump via the 25th Amendment over his continued strikes on Iran. Now, Jones says the effort was warranted, citing concerns with the war.

“They want us in a total war so they can censor and take our freedoms, nationalize everything, and push us aside with AI — total liability, immunity, and protection. This is a disaster. We are facing tyranny, but the public’s awakening,” Jones said Tuesday.

“We’ve got to come together and transcend left and right, and we have to say no to an expanded war that will definitely destroy the economy and kill a bunch of our troops. They’re preparing a massive ground invasion. It’s all confirmed. This is going down right now,” he added.
