On or about Friday July 31st Zerohedge’s modus operandi appears to have changed. No longer do they have Iran war update articles on their headline banner. Instead they have filler articles with news of little economic consequence.

Regardless of what bend the ZH article had about cheerleading Israel and the war, the commenters insisted on statting the blunt truth. Israel’s war was costing America lives and trillions in food and fuel prices.

Gaming the comment section with fake upvotes and premium top commenters failed to push the pro-war narrative. Herding readers with anti leftist articles that tried to push war truthers into the “communists to be denounced” category failed.

The goal for Zerohedge today seems to be distract, distract and hide. With every Iran / Israel war update turning more and more people against the war, and the propaganda comments failing badly, the strategy seems to have shifted to denial.
For a website based on the reality of economic doom “Zerohedge. On a long enough timeline, the survival rate for everyone drops to zero”, ignoring the most important news metric of when that doom is about to happen makes Zerohedge an example of hypocrisy at it’s peak.

In a way you could say peak hypocrisy has arrived. Que the filler articles about reflecting pools and schaden freude pieces about European demographic collapse.

What does this mean?
The US losing the war is imminent?
The original plan to incrementally ratchet up food and fuel till Americans support a draft is falling apart? (i.e. The likelihood of a domestic revolution is far higher than Americans supporting a foreign war to bring down prices?)
