A Dynacom product tanker was struck and set alight by a double strike of the coast of Oman on Monday during an apparent attempt to transit the Strait of Hormuz.
The attack eight nautical miles (15 km) north-west of Kumzar, Oman, started a fire in the engine room of the 75,000-dwt Kavomaleas (built 2025).
