The authors go far towards justifying the incredible popularity of the subject in today’s culture and the need for a thorough explanation of the research findings that undergird the universal desire for Humanity to learn if we are alone in the Cosmos.

A quick perusal has led me to reconsider my criticism of Loeb’s selection as Trump’s Science Advisor to the extent his credentials as a scientist go far towards overcoming the apparent bias he may have for his birthplace:
