Khrabrovo Airport in Kaliningrad, Russia, temporarily suspended operations after authorities announced a drone attack threat.
Rosaviatsiya, Russia’s Federal Air Transport Agency, announced this.
This appears to be the first time since the start of the full-scale war that a civilian airport in Kaliningrad has officially shut down due to the threat of drone attacks.
The agency claimed that the temporary suspension of arrivals and departures was introduced “to ensure flight safety,” without specifying the exact reasons for the restrictions.
Meanwhile, the Kaliningrad region account of Russia’s emergency warning system announced a “drone threat” alert.
