First the real meaty and juicy stuff, kind of like a quasi “EXECUTIVE SUMMARY” on steroids.

The U.S. Armed Forces and Israel were resoundingly defeated during the 2026 Iran War, which is precisely why Trump urgently called for the ceasefire when he did.  Not only was the American military presence throughout the Middle East methodically devastated by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, Israel was hit so hard Netanyahu had no choice but to stop the hostilities.

Iran launched coordinated missile and drone strikes on 18 U.S. military sites and installations across the Middle East during the 2026 war. Investigations utilizing satellite imagery revealed that Iran struck more than 100 targets across 11 primary bases, seriously damaging or destroying over 220 structures, air defenses, and equipment.

It is quite noteworthy that none of that major damage has been meaningfully repaired; cleared away, yes, but not replaced or repaired for fear of it being destroyed yet again by the IRCG’s superior hypersonic ballistic missiles and drone weaponry.

A May 2026 Congressional Research Service report on the conflict in Iran detailed that the U.S. military lost or suffered damage to at least 42 aircraft.

According to the official reports, about “30 UAVs worth nearly $1 billion have reportedly been destroyed or damaged since start of the war and some of the models are no longer being produced”.

As for 12 manned aircraft that were shot down, destroyed or damaged, this figure primarily consists of some of  the most expensive fighter jets, tankers and surveillance aircraft.

So far, that’s a heckuva lot of losses for the U.S. Armed Forces…and none of those are easily or quickly replaced.  For instance, several of the highly advanced radar systems take several years to manufacture and properly install, which means they are effectively gone for good.

Which also means that if Team Trump resumes hostilities, both the U.S Air Force and Navy will be flying blind to a certain extent and, therefore, much more vulnerable to Iranian air defenses and offensive attacks.

As for all U.S. military installations throughout the Mideast, they’re all now sitting ducks as never before…and the top brass knows it just as the Trump regime is fully aware of those serious exposures and unprecedented vulnerabilities.

In other words: Commander-in-Chief Trump — in good conscience — cannot issue orders for another attack on Iran.  And, if he does, he will find himself in BIG trouble with everyone concerned.
