In an egregious disregard for a basic understanding of the First Amendment and the spirit of Liberty undergirding our Constitution, ADL Frontman Jonathan Greenblatt has called for the weaponization of the FBI against those bold enough to criticize Israel or Jews:

This ugly, hateful pronouncement should be turned on its head by Patel and his minions to investigate Greenblatt and his squad of lawyers threatening the fundamental civil liberties of honest citizens who find the policies of the Zionist leaders of the Jewish State unacceptable.

Greenblatt has adopted the bullying tactics of President Trump who ceaselessly relies on harsh rhetoric combined with the illegal use of force to punish those who stand in his way.

These actions are more consistent with the jackboot tactics of the KGB and Gestapo than with our cherished system of free expression which has all but perished in recent years under the pulverizing indifference of officials from both parties.

I call on all decent folks within the government as well as informed citizens to not only resist such misguided pronouncements but to push back aggressively against the ADL and its henchmen by stigmatizing them for the fascists they are.

This is NOT about antisemitism! It’s about decency, the rule of law and the right of those with opposing views to lawfully express their opinions without fear of retaliation by those acting under color of law.

Greenblatt’s complete lack of understanding of this basic doctrine represents an existential threat to the survival of our system of justice and ordered liberty which is currently reeling from shocks administered by Trump as well as previously by Biden whose flawed immigration policy is being used by the current incumbent to justify launching repressive measures.

Add to this the dangers of an undeclared war of choice against Iran and other dubious developments trending towards an out right police state including constant surveillance by AI, the Greenblatt threat requires prompt and decisive rejection by Director Patel and whoever follows Pam Bondi at Justice along with the Bar Association, MSM and legal scholars in Academia in order to preserve what’s left of our liberties for future generations.
