If Dante Were Alive Today, Would He Rewrite His Divine Comedy After Witnessing Pam Bondi Testify?

By Danish Dan’s Dunder

Admittedly, I have no expertise in literature or poetry, let alone literature from the history of Italy, still it does not seem much of a stretch to imagine there are others who might appreciate such a question.

Our Western world has surfeited on wealth and assumption. Late generations have outgrown older forms of entertainment such as orchestral symphonies and poetry that required certain conventions like rhyme and meter. Rather we have been satiated on materialism, choice, and the privilege to assume prosperity (at least our more elderly folk).

But now with this Donald Trump world of chaos that has been unfolding corruption seems more prominent than ever.

How, for example, does one reckon with the insouciant insolence of a one Pamela Jo Bondi, with her BA in Criminal Justice and years of prosecutor experience? Her recent performance defending the Trump administration’s investigation into the Epstein Files boggles many of a mind?

Instead of acting like an adult prosecutor she ends up acting like a immature battle-ax, spoiled and somewhat like an adolescent brat who badly needs a strapping. Seriously.

Yet this is not a teenager with too much spunk (at least no longer so). Born in 1965 makes her sixty years of age and her eye wrinkles are competing with her wispy eye lashes for the camera’s attention.

Moreover, her defense of President Trump is not so different from some cult groupies—especially when she tries to convince the world how great is her boss is on practically all accounts. Can she really be this doe-eyed and enamored?

There seems to be some inexplicable influence the Trump has on her and other cabinet members like Christi Noem? Either that or these people are more corrupt than what some of us more empathetic people are willing to indulge.

If you google her name on YouTube after the grilling she got from Congress members this February 12th, you see a plethora of video titles with hyperbolic accusations and outrage.

Personally, as a somewhat naïve male, I never understood why so many women used to watch soap operas or read romance novels, but it seems these Bondi banners are more sensational still—entertainment galore—that is at least as sensational as one is likely to see in any given court house trial.

Can you say meltdown and tantrum—two descriptors readily slung around to describe this circus affair.

Google AI describes a ‘meltdown’ as “a severe, rapid, and often disastrous collapse, whether of a nuclear reactor core due to cooling failure, an economic system, or an individual’s mental/emotional state. It typically signifies a total breakdown of control, function, or stability.”

Perhaps it’s an exaggeration to claim we witnessed a complete meltdown and yet the fireworks were clearly on display, several times, with accusations and counter-accusations blasting like a cacophony of operatic theatre. Will there be academy awards for best congressional performance?

Do you remember Margeret Hamilton’s in the Wicked Witch of the West in the Wizard of Oz?

The Wizard of Oz (1939)- Wicked Witch of the West’s defeat

The Wizard of Oz (1939)- Wicked Witch of the West’s defeat

Here we witness ‘willful’ evil and delight in its manifestation. “How about a little fire scarecrow?” … “Who could have thought a good girl like you could destroy my beautiful wickedness?!”

Yes, there are incidents in which people and witches may seem readily and identifiably evil (especially when not quite so attractive while harboring dark stringy hair and glowing form a green skin tone. There was nothing vulnerable about Hamilton’s manifestation of a female bitch in a witch.

Whereas blondie Bondi actually seems a bit more like a blonde version of the ‘girl’ Dorothy—somewhat vulnerable with her ready capacity to tone into various shades of emotionality—and yes some seemingly adolescent and naïve as well (such as cult like take on Donald Trump and his record).

For some reason I don’t think she too would readily shoot a dog? But who knows?

The truth is we have a whole lot of government personnel, and plenty of media people as well, that has been covering up the so-called Epstein Files (for a long time—with several FBI directors).

Moreover, how can anyone fathom numbers like three million files being released? How many billions of files are there on this one mega-case? Or are these outlandish numbers just more red herring?

This whole thing seems more like a comedy of errors (a situation made amusing by bungling and incompetence) than a real inquiry.

So, what do we make of all this Congressional soap opera?

The sad truth is both the Democratic and Republican parties are deeply corrupt and immoral on different levels. These are not respectable people to do an investigation into wrongdoing.

Overall, they both have backed up a genocide in Gaza, and that is arguably worse than cases of hundreds of sex crime victims—underage or otherwise.

Where are the three million files on covering up Israel’s ill-begot influence in the United States as related to these Congress critters?!!?

Some of them should be hanging from noose.

For the American public to even tolerate these people be allowed to carry on an investigation involving crime and ethics now should be deemed unacceptable. They are pretty much all guilty of wrong doing.

Close the entire Congress and every committee.

Tell them all to pack their bags and leave their den of inequity of Washington D.C. forever. We are tired of criminals investigating criminals.

According to Bing AI summarizing Encyclopedia Britanica:

“Dante began writing the Divine Comedy during his exile from Florence … it served as a means to process his estrangement and anger towards the political factions that led to his banishment. It reflects his desire to understand the moral and political chaos of his time, as well as his hope for Italy’s unification and resolution of factionalism.”

Being a Roman Catholic country he found relief in the idea of an afterlife of justice. According to him there were many forms of punishment for various kinds of sinners.

But this is the naivete that allow criminals to get away with their earthly crimes—assuming justice will finally manifest in some abstract afterlife.

Bull-honkers. Trial and punish these bastards now.

When we think of all the criminal influences and persons in our contemporary times who have engaged in various forms of disinformation (lies) and promoting evil in this world we are well aware that Hades would be a busy place with all manner of exacting punishment and justice (technically the parallel to what one might presume as Criminal Justice) if it were a real spiritual likelihood.

There, at least, in religious illusions, people would get their just rewards, and adolescent Bondi too will not escape the ravages of pain exacted on her derriere, while even the more blood-thirsty Congress people like Lindsey Graham, who is readily promoting an unnecessary war with Iran, would get punishments even more severe from she-devils in which he would likely never forget.

But we cannot wait for Heaven and an Afterlife.

We, the People, need to do something now.

Amen
