Can you say: “Blatantly and massively egregious?”
Still, you would not likely guess this word comes to us from Old Latin egregius to mean: “distinguished, excellent, and extraordinary,” as originally having a more positive denotation as in “rising above the flock” [from ‘ex’ + ‘grege’ from a herd or flock]?
Now its synonyms have little to nothing to do with being in some category as the cream of the crop exception; but rather includes extremist denotations like: atrocious, grievous, heinous, intolerable, nefarious, scandalous, and shocking! In other words, connoting a doubly to triply bad and degenerate antagonist, yes shocking even to Macbethian levels.
As Trump finished his first year ‘presiding’ over ‘our’ American supposed government (as opposed to it being hijacked) red flag alerts were flying every which way and culminating into the equivalent of a New Year’s Eve fireworks show making quite a kaleidoscope of crazy-maker issues.
And what some are now thinking is that this guy is either dumber and less rational than many thought, or he can equally lie with the best of them; or that he is mostly a caricature of a common thug but with unusually high levels of narcissism and delusional fantasy.
And what we should not forget about his first term is the only real constituent of his that was truly satisfied was the Israeli government and right-wing Zionists (earning him a full five stars) because their priorities were the only ones he managed to accomplish; otherwise, he was too bogged down by detractors stymieing every other effort or simply not trying that hard. On a school grade scale of A to F many aware American MAGA persons would probably give him a C- or D while forwarding excuses and shoulder shrugs.
Yet there were no inhibitions or frugality with his ousting/ kidnapping of Nicholas Maduro? Why?
Granted yes, other calamities have since taken center circus stage already, like Minneapolis and ICE(and the agitprop propaganda wars) plus NATO resentment, but we need to stop and get some real analysis here while it is still somewhat fresh in our memories.
And it needs to be stated this is not about whether socialism or communism is better or worse than say capitalism. This is about international law and foreign peoples of a sovereign country having the right to decide for themselves what kind of government they wish to vote in. See Scott Ritter’s analysis:

Moreover, there has always been an excessive amount of deceitful propaganda about how people like Maduro (or leaders in Iran) treat their peoples and their opposition—too much of it being fallacious.
It wasn’t bad enough Trump illegally killed dozens of foreigners on fishing boats while providing zero evidence of drug smuggling; and then his CIA fire-bombed one of Venezuela’s port facilities; or that he cut off their foreign trade around the world; and also decided to steal oil and oil tankers; but then he and his corrupt ilk have un-officially started a war (ultimately directed at two superpowers)! Ballsy yes. Thought-out no.
And why so reckless and ill-considered regarding political and material objectives?
Does he just need to create chaos and new confrontations to keep the world off balance?
Is he dealing with too much stress such as various legal inquiries and the Epstein mess he is inevitably mired in? Likely. And it is not like he has one category of criminal level inquiries. He has several.
Yet apparently, consequences for Americans here in the U.S., id. est., tax payers, nor people there in Venezuela do not matter? If the U.S. economy suffers his agents of oil and mineral resource thievery don’t seem to care?
Moreover, was it really well thought-out given all the resources and training? Yes, in the military aspect of a kidnapping, but the political and economic aspects—failure.

And note this term ‘psychotic’ is not being used here as political hyperbole—nor does it imply some exact diagnosis—still the mental state and dementia are clearly implicated. Donald Trump may not be certified nut job but his capacities for understanding objective reality are seriously impaired—and even much of the mediocre masses are noticing.

Consider for example that he was directly responsible for the assassination of a top military commander Qassem Soleimani in Iran in his first term (the equivalent of say General Michael Flynn—and solely because this is what Israel wanted) and later he participated in the assassination of Hamas negotiators in Qatar. After Soleimani’s death he said that if he should get assassinated by Iran, the U.S. should in return bomb their entire country. Some equivalence! This we note is how the Israelis think and act.

One reason, especially, he is such a badly-elected president, is due to him making promises to his MAGA base that he didn’t really try to keep (or if he did it was in such a clumsy and ill-conceived manner if defied law and common sense). Whereas, his mediocre awareness on many important subjects, coupled with lack of curiosity that requires intellectual discernment leaves us with inevitable incompetence. Rather he likes to jump to conclusions. This too reflects his lack of real historical perspective. But more importantly is his strong man thuggish mindset of being a “transactional” dealer (as if only his value system about cashing-in or might makes right (or Israel) matters) cancels out any potential benefits.
Plus it is especially important to realize the real reason he was able to become President twice was because of his substantial, and behind-the-scenes backing from Zionist Jews (for both elections—much more than was obvious).
His own MAGA base did vote for him in big numbers, but otherwise their wishes were mostly secondary and window dressing. Hence, once loyal Marjorie T Greene turning away.
Examine instead which leaders he actually spends his time with and you will see it is with other dictators (such as him praising the currently installed Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa (by U.S., England and Israel) as now supposedly a “strong leader” and friend to the White House? A blatant fanatical killer officially labeled a terrorist is now a friend.
Moreover, is there such a thing of having a sense of “moral sanity” and valuing normative traditions? Doesn’t the word being ‘conservative’ mean to conserve and honor traditions?
So, our question today really is how does he think he can continue to act with impunity and violate any and every diplomatic norm and rule of international law? And why is he constantly creating so much chaos? Case and point his arbitrary and chaotic tariff changes.
Again, this Caracas crime scene takeover was not well thought out. So why all the “extensive resource allocation” in military high stakes risk and hoopla (asking while this is still a memory in the wake of his ship’s erratic patterns)?

Pundits say Venezuela’s low-grade, sulfuric oil is of poor quality, and the oil extraction infrastructure is dilapidated and will be expensive and take years to rebuild, and U.S. oil companies are not interested about going back into this country given the time and money involved (and little expectation of territorial stability)? Say what? He just made a bunch of assumptions while alienating half the world? And not consulting Congress either?
Plus, now he thinks the entire continents of North and South America belongs to the U.S.A.? On what basis—as the U.S. has 600 military bases around the entire world? What is the logic?
There is no logic here other than he has adopted some notion that he can act like Israel and do whatever he wants since Israel acts like a sociopathic society and seems to continuously get away with it, and besides Israel is equally involved in controlling too much of the United States foreign and domestic policy, such also in meddling in Central and South America (for decades).
And it should not surprise bribery was used to turncoat Venezuelan leaders who were basically bought off with huge heaps of cash for cooperating with this coup; but regardless, the country is still being run by a core of its original team with a great deal of citizen support and defiance (despite propaganda to the contrary).
So, questions are looming as to whether this high stakes gambit with excess expenditure while being a blatantly illegal act was done more for Israel than other offered reasons? Some seem to think so (including its currently newly sworn-in leader).

However, Trump has a redeeming quality (redeeming to his detractors). He is short-sighted and simple. He does not have the intellectual gravitas as Roy Cohn.
Moreover, do to his narcissism he’s not far from being some sacrificial offering for the sake of those who need a narcissistic Manchurian candidate to do their bidding—that is those who wield real power behind the scenes.
All the Israeli government needed to do was put his face on a coin suggesting he is the equivalent in heroics of the ancient King Cyrus of Syria (which likely is another myth of many Biblical fables). He thence came to believe he was fulfilling some pre-ordained supernatural destiny.

Plus he has even fallen for delusions of grandiosity in which he is depicted as God’s choice to save the country as well as Israel. He really lives in such mental mind states of grandiosity thinking he is chosen by divine intervention. Asking Google AI: “Does Donald Trump believe he was chosen by God to lead our country?” we get:

And of course, it is not just himself who thinks in such parables—plenty in his base does as well.
It is supposed to be unethical for professional mental health experts to diagnose a politician without privately assessing the individual in real time, and that several such experts did so in Trump’s first term (likely because they disliked the guy), but this guy needs some serious evaluation, and not just on cognitive levels but moral levels as well.
Things are far too erratic. What is predictable in this dangerous world with so many weapons waiting to go off? And an economy ready to hit disaster. Trump needs to step down from office. He has not helped the economy while he pushes the military budget from 1 billion to one and half billion in his second term?
Consider, then, the signs, the warnings, and note that as well that family politics can get very nasty and devious, still we should recognize that even his own niece, Mary Trump, has come out against him and has made dramatic warmings about him being a danger to the world as President?
Plus his ‘own’ previous lawyer, Michael Cohen, who knows Trump and his style of dealing well, has being creating podcasts lambasting him?
And while all this disparate and multifaceted chaos ensues Donald Trump’s and Israel’s worse crimes of supporting and directing a genocide and starvation in Gaza and violence and land theft in the West Bank gets hidden away and forgotten.
With all the ICE violence, threats at Greenland, chaos over investigations, attacks on Venezuela, threats to Mexico and elsewhere and even NATO, who is paying attention to the continuous destruction of Palestinians, the hunger, the freezing weather, the feeble health, and including in the West Bank? NO ONE!!
Plus now Trump is supposed to run the Board of Peace in Gaza? Really, this guy who has allowed the genocide in the first place (saying “they have to finish the job”) should actually be in charge of the United States office of the President, let alone something with no greater purpose than rounding up stray cats in the hinterlands of a city dump in Louisiana? Then he appoints his son-in-law Jared Kushner (nepotism with adverse financial interests), fellow-genocide kingpin Netanyahu, Tony Blair who takes his money from IDF funder Larry Elison, and Marco Rubio (Israeli firster) as board members?!?!
And to top it off, within all these diverse distractions, Israel and rich American Zionists continue their war against free speech.
