As the National Hurricane Center monitors a broad area of low pressure in the Caribbean, models are beginning to hint at Florida seeing impacts from the developing system.
According to the NHC, a broad area of low pressure currently over the central Caribbean Sea is producing an area of disorganized showers and thunderstorms.
As the system moves into the western Caribbean Sea, the NHC says environmental conditions appear conducive for development, adding that a tropical depression is likely to form in the next two to three days.
