LAST DAY OF OUR FIRST AND FINAL DONATION CAMPAIGN, FOLKS

So if you plan on contributing to SOTN, this is the time to do it—thank you!

First we want to sincerely thank those SOTN followers who have contributed to the State of the Nation Alt Media platform during the only fund-raising campaign in our 17 year history.

While there were relatively few folks who made donations, those who gave contributed an amount — in total — that will allow the SOTN network to cover most of the major operational expenses for this year.  However, the larger costs associated with the neglected problems which cause the site to periodically go down are not covered (see the “Summary of SOTN Costs” posted below).

Just an FYI for those who requested to make a contribution using a specific payment platform, we ran into some ridiculous difficulties (clearly engineered by the censorship regime and various sabotage bots) in setting up different donation links.  Not only was SOTN rejected outright from a number of platforms, the various obstacles we confronted were practically insurmountable on others.  Hence, the ways of giving has been limited.

For those who wanted to make a donation by check or cash, setting up a $300.00 PO Box was not cost effective for a one time fund-raising campaign.  If there’s another method that’s acceptable, please let us know between now and June 30th.

Lastly, this will be our last donation campaign so anyone who plans on contributing is encouraged to do so by June 3oth.  It has been a very challenging fund-raising endeavor because the enemies of SOTN came out in force to acquire our both our personal information and private business data using every deceit imaginable, which we fully expected but do not have the time to deal with.  It just further validated how SOTN is always hovering right over the target(s).

Summary of SOTN Costs

We are receiving donations to cover all of the 2025 renewals
for 6 websites—all SOTN libraries and directly affiliated and
interlinked Alt Media sites. The renewals include all hosting
service fees on 2 different servers, domain names and privacy,
as well as a comprehensive, top-tier, security package for each
site.

Because of the various problems with viruses and malware,
we also require the services of a cyber-security tech, software
developer and/or coder to clean up a lot of damage inflicted
over the years when we could not afford those services.
Just getting the site search engines to work properly is going
to be a big job, so we are told because of how those functions
have been compromised over the years.

As a result of all SOTN social media accounts being either
deplatformed and/or demonetized everywhere, we are also
looking for an SEO crackerjack who can be trusted.  Even our
search engine traffic has been pushed down to practically zero;
and that referral source used to be the primary way that new
visitors found us.

Lastly, we are looking into the possibility of setting up an
archive(s) for all the sites for reasons previously stated. We
are still receiving ideas about how to best to perform that task
as well as estimates.  The costs of conducting the multi-site
clean-up job is also a big unknown as quotes will be forth-
coming.
