“To dispel any rumors or hyperbole, the FACT is that the IRGC missile industries bought over a thousand tons of chemicals from China that arrived at the port in March with 1000 tons of sodium perchlorate, intended for the production of ballistic missiles, a few component for solid fueled missiles. This shipment came in two Iranian registered ships which were tracked by US SIGINT and HUMINT all the way. US directly did not want to intercept the ships but gave its Zionist masters enough time to ship explosive laden shipping containers to Bandar Abbas and several other Iranian and regional ports, including Saudi Arabia, UAE, Jordan and Bahrain. Sodium Percholate is one of the most unstable chemicals and can ignite by a mere spark. The incompetent Iranians failed to quickly transport this shipment directly to the missile factory near Isfahan immediately after off loading. These chemicals were casually stored in a standard above ground bunded tanks, which are highly vulnerable to aerial and/or proximity explosive attacks. The Zionists also timed this attack with the farcical Iran-US nuclear talks which made the Iranians even more complacent. The explosive power of the containers compounded by highly flammable perchlorate made this explosion similar to a small nuclear weapon of around 3kt. Fortunately, unlike congested Beirut, Bandar Abbas on the Persian Gulf is a sparsely populated port with a few high density residential buildings, otherwise the casualties would be in several thousands. Iran really needs to be trained in port security and chemical storage handling. RIP to all the victims of this Zionist terror attack.”
