Amendment 3 clarified by Gov DeSantis. Trulieve Corp spent $100 million to get this on the FL ballot. This large public corp will have exclusive control over the recreational marijuana industry in FL if Amendment 3 passes. They will decide what ingredients go into the products, (remember the tobacco industry and Big Pharma), and they have written into the amendment a total cloak of protection so Trulieve cannot be sued or charged with any criminal damages in cases of users being poisoned physically or mentally even if death occurs. Does this sound familiar? No one can grow their own at home nor obtain legally from other sources. This amendment is dangerous for those against recreational marijuana as well as marijuana users. Furthermore, this amendment places no restrictions on where marijuana can be used, whether restaurants, beaches, or other public places. Therefore no business can forbid its use on the premises, private or public. One last point, if you are a user, feel assured that the current laws are not enforced. There is not a single person in jail in FL for being a user. However, as DeSantis points out, if this passes, Trulieve will spend big bucks to have penalties enforced on homegrown or other sources so no one encroaches on their Cash Cow!
