Get ready! March is going to be the most astrologically eventful month of the year. Venus turns retrograde, Mercury turns retrograde, Saturn changes signs into Pisces, Uranus changes signs in Taurus, and there is both a solar and lunar eclipse!

Let’s look at all these important events.

Venus will be retrograde between March 1 – April 12. Venus is the planet that spends the least amount of time retrograde than any of the planets. It turns retrograde every 18 months and remains retrograde for about 40 days, but in most cases remains in a sign for about 4 months. Venus will remain in Pisces from January 27 – May 31. This cycle is fascinating and very symbolic.

On March 22, Venus’s retrograde cycle will come to a point where it will conjunct the Sun. At this time, Venus will revert from an evening star to a morning star. It begins to transit behind the Sun.

In the middle of this transition, Venus vanishes from our view here on Earth. The disappearance will begin approximately two weeks after the retrograde cycle begins and lasts for around eight days. When we see Venus again, it will be rising as a morning star in the Eastern sky, shortly before the Sun. Her morning star cycle lasts for nine months until the next retrograde cycle.

The pentagram is a very positive symbol in Japan and represents the five elements. In numerology, it is a number of vibrancies, adventure, and freedom.

The symbology with numbers here is amazing. Every 18 months, Venus goes retrograde – like the cycle of Rahu and Ketu. Eight days, it is invisible, 8 years to complete the pentagram of a 5-pointed star, and it takes 9 months to go from morning to evening star or evening to morning star.

Venus is the planet of love, romance, and marriage. Venus retrogrades are known for bringing in new love or even bringing back old relationships. Mostly it is a time of healing relationships.

Love and marriage are a huge part of all of our lives. It brings us together, creates families, and adds joy and happiness to our lives. It takes nine months for Venus to go from morning to evening star, or vice versa — which is the gestation period of a baby. I believe this cycle represents coming together in love, harmony, peace, and a new birth of love and new values.

Since Venus’s cycle is eight years, it is important to go back to eight years ago, which was March 2017, as this was the exact time that Venus was retrograde in Pisces. Many similarities that occurred during that time will reoccur this year in 2025. Overall, this is the time for an in-depth look into your relationships, as many healings will occur. It is a new beginning and a fresh new start in how we approach life with new-founded joy and happiness.

Mercury turns retrograde from March 15 through April 7. During this time, Mercury retrogrades in Pisces, transiting back and forth with Venus. They will actually conjunct on March 11, both at 14° of Pisces.

These are very interesting placements since Venus is exalted and Mercury is debilitated in Pisces. Venus’s exaltation uplifts the debilitation of Mercury, making this duo a powerful combination for change and transformation.

Since retrogrades indicate a time of review and reflection, many things uprooted from the past will bring awareness and healing for the future. With so many planets in Pisces this month, we will see a turning point where many things from the past will come to a resolution and end, as Pisces is the last sign of the Zodiac.

On March 18, Uranus will transit into the sign of Taurus where it will remain until July 7 of 2031. Uranus stays in a sign for approximately seven years. As it enters back into Taurus, it begins to transit over the most vile and demonic star in the heavens, which is Algol.

Uranus was transiting this fixed star in July 2024, which was when the assassination attempt on Donald Trump occurred. We could be looking at more assassination attempts as Saturn and Rahu are together in the sign of Pisces.

These two planets were together in Pisces in 1968, which was the year of the two major assassinations of Martin Luther King Jr. and Robert Kennedy.

We are in very dangerous times from March through July. Most importantly, critical events are occurring between March through the end of May. April is the most dangerous!

The full Moon lunar eclipse that happens on March 14 is another indication of endings before a new beginning. This lunar eclipse occurs at 29° of Leo and is tightly opposed to Saturn at 28° of Aquarius conjunct with the Sun.

This span of full moons occurring at the 29th degree began in November 2024 and goes through April 2025. The 29° mark is the last degree of a sign, indicating endings and resolutions that bring a new beginning.

Saturn’s involvement with this lunar eclipse represents a very serious tone that is currently taking place. There is a heavy feeling in the air as this transitional change must transpire for the good of humanity.

Another important variable about this full Moon is that the Sun and Saturn are conjunct with the fixed star Markab 29° of Aquarius, which is a fated star of sorrow. There are deep concerns occurring this month of a difficult and dark nature brewing beneath the surface, which we can’t see currently.

The next groundbreaking event that will set the tone for this year is the solar eclipse on March 29.

On that same day, transiting Saturn will enter into the sign of Pisces, bringing together six planets all aligned in the sign of Pisces – Rahu, Venus, Neptune, Mercury, Sun, and Moon. Eclipses always set the tone for the following six months until the next solar eclipse, which will be in September.
