A Very Revealing Conversation With Justin Trudeau’s Estranged Brother

A Conversation with Kyle Kemper: Family, Freedom, and the Future of Governance

Submitted by An SOTN Investigative Journalist

What was it like growing up with Justin Trudeau?

Growing up with Justin was a mix of love, competition, activity, and fun. Despite the 14-year age difference, we managed to bond over shared experiences and interests. He was always someone I looked up to in some ways, though our age gap gave us different perspectives and stages in life. Our relationship was playful and dynamic, marked by the kind of sibling rivalry that naturally develops, but there was also a strong sense of support. It was an experience filled with memorable moments, adventures, and growth, both individually and as brothers.

At what point in your life did you feel your values diverging from his?

It wasn’t necessarily our values that changed but more so our worldviews that began to separate over time. A major turning point for me was after the events of 9/11. I started to see through the narratives surrounding the so-called ‘war on terror,’ recognizing it as a manipulated conflict orchestrated by powerful individuals behind the scenes. I became aware that much of what we see in politics and global events is influenced by these hidden forces. At some point, I realized that Justin’s strings were also being pulled—and he had accepted that reality as part of his path. That was when it became clear to me that we were headed in different directions. While I chose to pursue freedom and truth, he seemed content with playing a role within the system.

Has it been painful to watch your brother Justin implement tyrannical measures on the Canadian people?

Yes, it has been deeply painful to witness. It’s not just about him as an individual, but about the system he has become a part of. Watching him play a role in the deceptive game of geopolitics—where decisions are often dictated by hidden agendas—has been hard. It feels as though he’s become an energy vacuum, draining vitality from the people rather than empowering them. The restrictions and mandates he implemented during the pandemic were especially difficult to watch, knowing how they eroded the freedoms of Canadians and damaged trust in government. Seeing him pull the strings of those measures—or, more accurately, watching his strings be pulled—has been a disheartening experience.

You mentioned that your pregnant wife was chased out of a store in Canada for not wearing a mask. Did you consider the responsibility that Justin and his government bore in that situation?

The government, including Justin, was following a global script during that time. They imposed policies that stripped people of their dignity and autonomy, subjecting us all to a dehumanizing experience. It was brutal, especially because it targeted the most vulnerable, including families and expectant mothers. The experience with my wife was deeply personal, and it made me reflect on how even those in power can become instruments of these damaging policies. But at the same time, I see it as a lesson. We must never allow such insidious policies to return—because what happened during that period was not just inconvenient but profoundly harmful. It’s crucial that we remember what we endured and refuse to comply with similar measures in the future.

You are a supporter of Bitcoin and blockchain technology, as well as individual freedom. It seems you’ve been influenced by Ron Paul. I worked on his presidential campaign years ago. What blockchain technology are you working with to foster more direct democracy and reduce corruption?

Ron Paul has been a tremendous influence on me, especially his focus on liberty, sound money, and limited government. Like him, I believe in the importance of decentralization and individual sovereignty. We are actively researching and experimenting with blockchain frameworks to develop new governance models that empower people. We are creating pilots to test systems where accountability is built in, and power is returned to the community. Our goal is to ensure governance that is transparent and resistant to corruption—one that can’t be easily manipulated by centralized authorities.

These models are designed to foster a new way of governing, one that aligns with the principles of freedom and personal responsibility. It’s about giving people tools to participate directly in decision-making and ensuring that all transactions and policies are fully transparent.

How will blockchain technology help people gain more freedom and reduce corruption in government?

Distributed ledger technology offers three critical elements: immutability, transparency, and efficiency. When decisions, votes, or financial transactions are recorded on a blockchain, they become permanent and visible for all to see. This eliminates the possibility of tampering or manipulation, which is one of the root causes of corruption.

Moreover, by making these systems easy to use with intuitive interfaces, we can ensure that governance becomes more accessible to everyone. People will no longer need to rely on intermediaries or bureaucracies to participate in decision-making. Blockchain-based governance models will gradually render outdated political processes obsolete. With these systems, we can foster trust, accountability, and fairness—creating a foundation for governance that genuinely works in the best interests of the people.

Do you have a website where people can learn more about your blockchain initiatives?

I don’t currently have a website dedicated to the blockchain work I’m doing, but I’ve written two booklets that offer insights into the ideas we’re exploring. They’re a bit dated, but they still capture the essence of what we’re working toward. In many ways, this is an evolving field, and what we’re building now will be more advanced than anything we’ve seen so far. For those interested in these topics, the booklets provide a starting point to understand the philosophy and direction we’re pursuing.

You’ve mentioned that you have been influenced by certain spiritual teachings. You also shared with Tucker Carlson about the Hawaiian practice of forgiveness. Could you tell us more about some of the spiritual teachings that inspire you?

Yes, spirituality has been a guiding force in my life. I’ve been deeply inspired by the practice of Ho’oponopono, an ancient Hawaiian teaching of reconciliation and forgiveness. It reminds us that we can heal ourselves and others through forgiveness and gratitude. Another significant influence has been The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz, which offers a framework for personal freedom through integrity and self-awareness.

The principles of Aloha—love, compassion, and connection—have also shaped my outlook. And finally, the 10 principles of Burning Man have had a profound impact, especially concepts like radical self-expression, participation, and leaving no trace. These teachings remind me to live authentically, connect deeply with others, and strive for personal and collective growth.

You remind me of Russell Brand—in appearance, demeanor, and your shared love for individual freedom and spirituality. Did you know that Russell has or had a Hare Krishna guru?

I didn’t know that, but it makes perfect sense. Russell is a beautiful soul who has experienced multiple cycles of death and rebirth—metaphorically speaking—throughout his life. He’s someone I deeply admire for his willingness to evolve and his ability to speak truth to power. Russell has contributed so much by sharing his journey with the world, and I feel grateful for the work he’s doing. His commitment to both personal and societal transformation is inspiring, and I feel a sense of brotherhood with him on this path toward greater freedom and enlightenment.

This expanded conversation with Kyle Kemper provides deeper insights into his worldview, shaped by personal experiences, family relationships, and a quest for freedom. From blockchain technology and decentralized governance to spirituality and sibling dynamics, Kemper emphasizes the importance of autonomy, accountability, and personal growth. His perspective offers a refreshing blend of activism, innovation, and wisdom, reflecting his commitment to a future where people are empowered, governments are transparent, and freedom is protected.
