Drone activity in New Jersey has now spread to their New York neighbors as the Biden regime continues to ignore the developing crisis.<\/p>\n

ABC 7 News New York\u00a0reported<\/a>\u00a0on Thursday that an airport in the Stewart International Airport in Orange County, New York was shut down Friday night. This airport is located roughly 60 miles north of New York City.<\/p>\n

Officials at the airport revealed that the runways were closed entirely for an hour after the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) alerted them that a drone was spotted in the area around 9:30 p.m.\u00a0According to<\/a> ABC 7 News, air traffic control recordings from the airport during that time also included a pilot reporting drone sightings in the area.<\/p>\n

The shutdown lasted just over an hour before the FAA gave an all-clear.<\/p>\n

The agency\u00a0claimed\u00a0<\/a>no aircraft were impacted, and flight operations also continued. But disgraced New York Governor Kathy Hochul was less than pleased that her state was being invaded, saying in a statement, \u201cThis has gone too far.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hochul demanded Congress pass the Counter-UAS Authority Security, Safety, and Reauthorization Act. The\u00a0legislation<\/a>\u00a0is designed to strengthen the FAA\u2019s oversight of drones, reform legal authorities to counter UAS activities and extend authority to state and local law enforcement agencies to investigate the activity.<\/p>\n

Hochul closed by calling out the Biden regime, demanding they do more before Congress acts.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cUntil those powers are granted to state and local officials, the Biden Administration must step in by directing additional federal law enforcement to New York and the surrounding region to ensure the safety of our critical infrastructure and our people,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Make no mistake: this new development directly correlates with the Regime\u2019s refusal to act.<\/p>\n

As Jim Hoft previously\u00a0reported<\/a>, several mysterious drones were spotted flying over New Jersey last week. The drones were spotted in at least 12 counties, prompting mayors to contact the governor and demand answers.<\/p>\n

TGP has also\u00a0noted\u00a0<\/a>that the Biden regime has refused to come clean on the drones\u2019 origins. National Security Council spokesman John Kirby categorically denied any confirmed incursions, dismissing over 3,000 reports of \u201ccar-sized drones\u201d as mistaken sightings of helicopters or airplanes.<\/p>\n

Kirby\u2019s assurances, however, directly contradict statements from military officials at New Jersey\u2019s Picatinny Arsenal and Naval Weapons Station Earle, both of which have confirmed unauthorized drone breaches in recent weeks.<\/p>\n

The Regime has also\u00a0laughed\u00a0<\/a>off seemingly credible reports alleging that the drones could be the work of a foreign adversary.<\/p>\n

There have even been sightings over U.S.\u00a0Military\u00a0<\/a>bases.<\/p>\n
