‘We Fired Bibi’: Israel’s Democrats Hail ‘Historic Opportunity’ to Form New Government<\/h1>\n

Democrats chairman Yair Golan welcomed the exit polls and called to establish a government of the opposition to Netanyahu, saying, “We have been given a historic opportunity to form a genuine change government in Israel, and we have no intention of giving it up.”<\/p>\n

Fellow Democrats MK Efrat Rayten echoed her remarks, saying the party would work to form a government. “We showed Netanyahu the door. We will do everything we can to form a new government for Israel,” she said.<\/p>\n

Democrats lawmaker Gilad Kariv described the exit polls as “tremendous news for Israel,” saying that “The Israeli public has fired Netanyahu.”<\/p>\n

“Netanyahu’s bloc has collapsed from 68 seats to 50: a total collapse,” he said.<\/p>\n
