Here&#8217;s the breakdown:<\/p>\n<p>Counties FIGHTING BACK (victories to celebrate):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Jackson County \u2014 went further than a moratorium and voted to outright BAN all data centers, effective June 23. Unanimous vote. Led by community members citing 300,000\u20135 million gallons of water per day usage. This is HUGE.<\/li>\n<li>Walton County \u2014 also put a BAN on all data centers<\/li>\n<li>Wakulla County \u2014 Commissioners voted unanimously to put a permanent ban on data centers<\/li>\n<li>Nassau County \u2014 12-month moratorium + fact-finding committee formed June 1<\/li>\n<li>Pasco County \u2014 Planning commission unanimously recommended a 12-month moratorium June 12; full county commission votes June 16 and July 14. Standing-room-only meeting with 3.5+ hours of public comment. County is already under extreme water shortage.<\/li>\n<li>Hernando County \u2014 Moving forward with a 365-day moratorium proposal<\/li>\n<li>Zephyrhills (Pasco) \u2014 City council also advancing its own moratorium<\/li>\n<li>Panhandle counties broadly \u2014 Multiple counties weighing bans\/moratoriums<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Threats still coming:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fort Meade (Polk County) \u2014 $2.6\u20132.8 billion campus, up to 4.4 million sq ft across 8 buildings.
