Similarly, President Trump, his family and friends, and especially his administration, have proven to be so tone deaf regarding their shockingly reckless and brazen personal enrichment via one unconscionable get-rich scheme after another while shamelessly using the U.S. Office of the President to do so.<\/p>\n

All of which means that the 250th anniversary of the founding of the American Republic is not meant to be the national birthday party many would like it to be.\u00a0 Rather than a festive affair full of mirth and celebration, July 4th must be a profoundly cathartic event so that a protracted period of purging can take place, if that’s even possible at this very late date.<\/p>\n

In other words, the entire political leadership of this once great nation has been so full of shit, for so friggin long, that only an extended Roto-Rooter enema will sufficiently empty its putrid bowls inside the Beltway in order to right the listing stinking ship of state before it sinks silently into the deep.<\/p>\n
