Summarizing Hegel\u2019s idea, Robert C. Tucker says that history reaches its rational goals in an indirect and subtle way. It does this by using the irrational side of human nature, such as passions and emotions.<\/p>\n<p>Hegel writes that world history follows a rational plan. This plan is not based on human thinking alone, but on a divine and absolute reason. He says we can see proof of this by studying history itself, because history shows how reason is carried out in the world.<\/p>\n<p>Hegel also says that the world is not controlled by chance or random events, but by providence. He explains that events in the world are guided by divine providence, which is wisdom combined with unlimited power, working to achieve a rational purpose.<\/p>\n<p>In this case, Hegel is right. We can see a possible example of this idea in the recent conflict with Iran. The Israeli regime likely did not expect the situation to develop in Iran\u2019s favor.
