She\u2019s introduced to Trump that way,\u201d Michael Wolff said. \u201cEpstein knew her well.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The agent in question is believed to be Paolo Zampolli, founder of ID Models, who reportedly had connections to both Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell and helped Melania emigrate to the US in the 1990s.<\/p>\n<p>In tapes recorded by Wolff, the disgraced financier reportedly claimed that Trump liked to \u201cf***\u201d his friends\u2019 wives and first slept with Melania on his \u201cLolita Express,\u201d as per a report by\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.thedailybeast.com\/listen-to-the-jeffrey-epstein-tapes-i-was-donald-trumps-closest-friend\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Daily Beast<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Zampolli, who was appointed Trump\u2019s special representative for global partnerships in 2025, has not commented on the claims, though his long-standing loyalty to the president is well documented.<\/p>\n<p>Wolff, meanwhile, questioned the first lady\u2019s low profile throughout Trump\u2019s presidency. \u201cWhere does (Melania) fit into the Epstein story? Where does she fit into this, into this whole culture of models of indeterminate age? So this is another complicated dimension in this,\u201d Wolff asked.<\/p>\n<p>The Trump administration has come under renewed media pressure in the wake of a July 6 memo issued by the Department of Justice and FBI, which concluded that Epstein died by suicide while in custody in 2019, awaiting trial on trafficking charges.<\/p>\n<p>The report also stated there was no official \u201cclient
