President Trump has announced a blockade of Iran after the failure of negotiations in Pakistan, saying \u201cevery vessel that has paid a toll to Iran\u201d to pass through the Strait of Hormuz will be intercepted by the US Navy.<\/strong><\/p>\n President Trump announced the blockade in a long post on Truth Social this morning.<\/p>\n \u201cSo, there you have it, the meeting went well, most points were agreed to, but the only point that really mattered, NUCLEAR, was not,\u201d he wrote.<\/p>\n \u201cEffective immediately, the United States Navy, the Finest in the World, will begin the process of BLOCKADING any and all Ships trying to enter, or leave, the Strait of Hormuz. At some point, we will reach an \u201cALL BEING ALLOWED TO GO IN, ALL BEING ALLOWED TO GO OUT\u201d basis, but Iran has not allowed that to happen by merely saying, \u2018There may be a mine out there somewhere,\u2019 that nobody knows about but them. THIS IS WORLD EXTORTION, and Leaders of Countries, especially the United States of America, will never be extorted.\u201d<\/p>\n President Trump went on to say that \u201cevery vessel that has paid a toll to Iran\u201d to pass through the Strait of Hormuz would be interdicted by the US Navy, and that any Iranian who fires at the US Navy or friendly ships will be \u201cBLOWN TO HELL!\u201d<\/p>\n Trump said the blockade will \u201cbegin shortly\u201d and that \u201cother countries\u201d will be involved.<\/p>\n He concluded: \u201cIran will not be allowed to profit off this Illegal Act of EXTORTION. They want money and, more importantly, they want Nuclear.
