Over 100 students have been killed and dozens injured in an Israeli airstrike on a girls\u2019 primary school in the city of Minab, in southern Iran, according to the country\u2019s news agency Tasnim. The attack comes amid ongoing airstrikes on the Islamic Republic by Israel and the US.<\/p>\n

Israel launched what it described as a pre-emptive operation against Iranian military and nuclear-related targets on Saturday, saying the strikes were aimed at neutralizing threats posed by Iran. US President Donald Trump later said Washington was joining the operation, citing the failure of nuclear diplomacy as a direct trigger for the renewed bombing.<\/p>\n

One of the strikes reportedly targeted an elementary school in the city of Minab, killing at least 148 students and leaving 95 others injured, according to local officials.<\/p>\n

Multiple graphic videos from the scene show the aftermath of the attack, with first responders combing through the rubble in search of possible survivors.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe destroyed building is a primary school for girls in the south of Iran. It was bombed in broad daylight, when it was packed with young pupils,\u201d<\/em> Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi wrote on X, vowing that this crime will not go unpunished.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
