Team USA<\/a><\/span>\u00a0hockey star Brady Tkachuk has fumed over an AI-doctored video released by the\u00a0White House<\/a><\/span>\u00a0that suggests he made a vile comment about Canadians.<\/p>\n Tkachuk helped America claim a gold medal at the Winter\u00a0Olympics<\/a><\/span>\u00a0in Italy, with a dramatic overtime victory over rivals Canada getting them over the line on Sunday.<\/p>\n After becoming Olympic champions, the Ottawa Senators captain joined his national teammates at\u00a0Donald Trump<\/a><\/span>‘s State of the Union speech and the White House this week to celebrate their achievement.<\/p>\n Yet before he made the trip to Washington, Tkachuk was the subject of a\u00a0TikTok<\/a><\/span>\u00a0video shared by the White House that had been altered by\u00a0AI<\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n The clip, which has more than 11 million views on TikTok, was doctored to make it seem like he said about Canadians after Sunday’s win: ‘They booed our national anthem, so I had to come out and teach those maple-syrup-eating f***s a lesson.’<\/p>\n ‘Well, it’s clearly fake, because it’s not my voice, not my lips moving,’ Tkachuk said Thursday. ‘I’m not in control of any of those accounts. I know that those words would never come out of my mouth. So, I can’t do anything about it.’<\/p>\n
