As the U.S. military continues its campaign targeting alleged drug cartel boats, Gen. Dan Caine, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, is convening a rare meeting of all of the top military leaders from the 34 countries in the Western Hemisphere.<\/p>\n

This will be the first time that such a meeting has been convened and appears to be focused on improving cooperation against drug trafficking and criminal organizations.<\/p>\n

The meeting is set for Feb. 11, according to a statement from the Joint Chiefs of Staff provided to ABC News.<\/p>\n
