the USA Needs an America Party<\/h1>"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--more-->Submitted by Renee Parsons<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Even before the recent Epstein uproar assaulted the Presidency of Donald Trump, there were early warnings that expectations for Trump\u2019s political performance were about to be disappointed.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Almost immediately after the Inauguration, a metamorphosis appeared to overwhelm Trump with anticipation that he would stop the Ukraine war as he had so loudly and boldly proclaimed before and after the election.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span>In his victory speech on election night, Trump\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/SkyNews\/status\/1854069959107735741\"><span class=\"s1\">said<\/span><\/a>, \u201c<i>I\u2019m not going to start wars, I\u2019m going to stop wars.\u201d<\/i><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">At the very least, Trump\u2019s experience as 45<span class=\"s2\"><sup>th<\/sup><\/span> President taught him that his familiar chant<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>\u2018<a href=\"https:\/\/www.msn.com\/en-us\/news\/politics\/trump-claims-russia-ukraine-war-wasnt-his-initial-focus-despite-promise-to-end-conflict-on-day-1\/ar-AA1IAp1y?ocid=BingNewsSerp\"><span class=\"s1\"><i>this<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>is not my war\u2019<\/i><\/span><\/a><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>was self serving and that every President becomes Constitutionally responsible for all Federal government policy.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>The President does not get to pick and choose.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>That Presidential authority provides the necessary clout to pull the plug on US support<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>for Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Abandoning his earlier pledge as a \u2018<a href=\"https:\/\/www.thenation.com\/article\/politics\/trump-foreign-policy-team-chaos\/\"><span class=\"s1\"><i>Peace President<\/i>\u2019<\/span><\/a> with a certainty to end the Ukraine conflict in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/investigations\/trumps-promise-end-ukraine-war-day-meets-harsh-realities-rcna188167\"><span class=\"s1\">one day<\/span><\/a>, it is unclear if Trump understood the implications of NATO expansion in Ukraine or the global geopolitical transformation that is underway.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">In any case, his fervor to stop the war faded quickly as Trump morphed from being an outspoken MAGA candidate into promoting a chaotic foreign policy at the Deep State\u2019s bidding.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">At the outset of its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bing.com\/search?pglt=299&amp;q=Russia+Special+Military+Operation&amp;cvid=32a701d1a1ee46ec977f5d34bc52f05b&amp;gs_lcrp=EgRlZGdlKgYIABBFGDkyBggAEEUYOTIGCAEQABhAMgYIAhAAGEAyBggDEAAYQDIGCAQQABhAMgYIBRAAGEAyBggGEAAYQDIGCAcQABhAMgYICBAAGEDSAQkxNjU5N2owajGoAgCwAgA&amp;FORM=ANNTA1&amp;PC=LCTS\"><span class=\"s1\">SMO (Special Military Operation<\/span><\/a>) in February, 2022, the Russians presented a non-negotiable <a href=\"https:\/\/chimpreports.com\/russia-tables-12-point-peace-proposal-to-end-ukraine-war\/#:~:text=The%2520Russian%2520Federation%2520has%2520unveiled%2520a%2520sweeping%2520draft,list%2520of%2520political%252C%2520territorial%252C%2520military%252C%2520and%2520economic%2520demands.\"><span class=\"s1\">Twelve Point Peace Proposal<\/span><\/a> of \u2018root causes\u2019<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>that remains unacknowledged by the US.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Trump\u2019s rationale for not fulfilling his campaign promise was that resident neocons convinced Trump it was Russian President Vladimir Putin\u2019s responsibility to adopt a ceasefire; that it was Putin who needed to stop the war despite Trump\u2019s earlier bravado to shut down US support.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">By mid-March, however, right out of the gate, Trump further challenged his Nobel Peace prize dream when his foreign policy team met on Signal (along with Atlantic editor Jeffrey Goldberg) to plan an unanticipated <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thenation.com\/article\/politics\/trump-foreign-policy-team-chaos\/\"><span class=\"s1\">bombing run<\/span><\/a> on Yemen.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>The Houthis, probably the poorest people on the planet, had been harassing Israeli ships through the Red Sea in a show of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.msn.com\/en-us\/news\/world\/a-us-navy-aircraft-carrier-is-sailing-home-after-a-rough-red-sea-deployment-that-has-seen-3-fighter-jet-losses\/ar-AA1F4n1X\"><span class=\"s1\">opposition<\/span><\/a> to the genocide on Palestinians in Gaza.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">After a two month unconstitutional <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aljazeera.com\/news\/2025\/5\/6\/trump-says-bombing-of-yemen-to-stop-as-oman-confirms-us-houthi-ceasefire\"><span class=\"s1\">bombing campaign<\/span><\/a> costing in excess of <a href=\"https:\/\/tacticsinstitute.com\/analysis\/us-airstrikes-cost-1-billion-while-houthi-attacks-persist\/\"><span class=\"s1\">$1 billion<\/span><\/a>, the US called it quits and withdrew as the <a href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/news\/international\/us\/after-suffering-a-major-blow-and-losing-three-state-of-the-art-fighter-jets-u-s-navy-aircraft-carrier-uss-harry-s-truman-is-finally-returning-home\/articleshow\/121274500.cms\"><span class=\"s1\">US Navy<\/span><\/a> lost two ships. <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">There have been few indications that Trump ever had a consuming interest in the broad range of foreign policy issues awaiting his attention.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>His first term in the Oval Office confirmed that while Trump is a tough talker, he has little ability to address international issues with a diplomatic tact or attention to detail.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Trump has always marched to a different drummer as his first six months in office provided<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=xQ0UTNIYmGU\"><span class=\"s1\">disconnected approach<\/span><\/a> to foreign policy with an unpredictable performance on Ukraine, no mention of the genocide in Gaza, a struggling tariff policy, an unprovoked attack on Iran and perpetuating a crisis with China.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">One partial explanation for Trump\u2019s flawed performance on foreign <a href=\"https:\/\/www.strategycentral.io\/post\/all-hands-an-introduction-to-trump-s-national-security-approach-team\"><span class=\"s1\">policy<\/span><\/a> might include<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>a majority of mediocre cabinet appointments who lack the depth of necessary experience to assist a struggling President.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Other than Vice President JD Vance, Tulsi Gabbard at DNI Director and RFK jr. as Secretary of HHS, none are members of the A team.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">To date, the Trump administration has no US Ambassador to Ukraine or to Russia, keeps the US-Russian Consulate closed and has not renewed air flights to Russia.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">***<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">As the Trump campaign geared up for the November vote, prominent big tech entrepreneur Elon Musk joined the campaign to elect Trump.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>In recognition of the country\u2019s $37 trillion debt, Musk gave birth to DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency) identifying bureaucratic waste, fraud and abuse in an effort to bring fiscal sanity to government agencies.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">At the same time, Trump ran into a buzzsaw when the contentious<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>HR 1, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.congress.gov\/bill\/119th-congress\/house-bill\/1\/text\/enr\"><span class=\"s1\">One Big Beautiful Bill<\/span><\/a> Act (BBB) hit a <a href=\"https:\/\/dialogueworks.substack.com\/p\/richard-wolff-and-michael-hudson-342\"><span class=\"s1\">brick wall<\/span><\/a> as Members of Congress announced their <a href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/homenews\/house\/5384136-massie-fitzpatrick-vote-against-gop-bill\/\"><span class=\"s1\">opposition<\/span><\/a> to increasing the Federal debt by $3 Trillion in the name of a tax cut. <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Congress added another $150 billion which, according to a Brown University study, 50% of which<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>will end up in the pockets of the US military industrial complex.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Musk described the BBB as a \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/news\/elon-musk-slams-trump-one-big-beautiful-bill-as-disgusting-abomination\/\"><span class=\"s1\">disgusting abomination<\/span><\/a>\u201d warning that next November, \u201c<i>all politicians who betrayed the American people<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>should be fired<\/i>\u201d adding that \u201c<i>When it comes to bankrupting our country with waste and graft, we live in a one-party system, not a democracy<\/i>,\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Even before Musk publicly <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bing.com\/videos\/riverview\/relatedvideo?q=Musk+Opposed+One+Big+Beautiful+Bill&amp;mid=9B48995E2B89D26AB5EE9B48995E2B89D26AB5EE&amp;FORM=VIRE\"><span class=\"s1\">dissed<\/span><\/a> Trump\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/homenews\/house\/5384136-massie-fitzpatrick-vote-against-gop-bill\/\"><span class=\"s1\">contentious<\/span><\/a> Bill,<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Congressional opposition surfaced with two House GOP Members led by Rep. Tom Massie (Ky.) voted <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsweek.com\/full-list-republicans-voted-against-trump-big-beautiful-bill-2093981\"><span class=\"s1\">against<\/span><\/a> the Bill. <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>On the Senate side, Sen. Tom Tillis\u2019 (NC) <a href=\"https:\/\/dialogueworks.substack.com\/p\/richard-wolff-and-michael-hudson-342\"><span class=\"s1\">opposition<\/span><\/a> earned him a Trump <a href=\"https:\/\/www.msn.com\/en-us\/news\/politics\/gop-sen-tillis-says-epstein-files-could-impact-midterm-prospects\/ar-AA1J9D43?ocid=BingNewsSerp\"><span class=\"s1\">dismissal<\/span><\/a>, causing Tillis to announce his drop-out from the 2026 Senate election.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Soon after publicly dissing the BBB, Musk, who offered a much needed diplomatic presence, was out the door.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">He took the opportunity to announce formation of the <a href=\"https:\/\/time.com\/7300282\/elon-musk-new-political-party-america-party-policies-trump-split\/\"><span class=\"s1\">America Party<\/span><\/a> wisely strategizing the 2026 mid term elections with a handful of Senate and House candidates rather than an impractical attempt to replace the entire 435 Members of Congress in one fell swoop. <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">In response to the threat of a new political party, Trump said he was \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/time.com\/7300282\/elon-musk-new-political-party-america-party-policies-trump-split\/\"><span class=\"s1\">saddened to see Musk go<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>completely off the rails.\u201d<\/span><\/a><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Predicting that third parties create \u201c<i>complete and total destruction and chaos&#8221; <\/i> and by the next day, changed his tune with \u201c<span class=\"s1\">I think it\u2019ll help us. I think it\u2019ll help.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">On the heels of Musk\u2019s departure and as if to disdain his desire for the Nobel Peace Prize, Trump ordered an unprecedented<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>bombing raid on Iran\u2019s three enrichment facilities<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>claiming \u201c<i>complete and total obliteration<\/i>\u201d in what became known as the<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/just-international.org\/articles\/donald-trumps-failed-12-days-war-against-iran-trump-and-his-adminstration-are-boldface-liars\/\"><span class=\"s1\">Twelve Day War<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Alas, the American unconstitutional effort to support Netanyahu failed to produce the desired results.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>MIT Prof Ted Postol <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=vmQdbZ9zkX8\"><span class=\"s1\">confirmed<\/span><\/a> that Trump\u2019s bombing results were not accomplished as implied.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Given Trump\u2019s long term relationship with Israeli premier Netanyahu, the President joined the chorus denouncing Iran\u2019s legal right as a member of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iaea.org\/topics\/non-proliferation-treaty\"><span class=\"s1\">NPT<\/span><\/a> to enrich uranium. <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">*** <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Meanwhile, the concept of an America Party becomes more stimulating and inspiring as HR 4016, the always notorious <a href=\"https:\/\/www.congress.gov\/bill\/119th-congress\/house-bill\/4016\"><span class=\"s1\">NDAA<\/span><\/a> bill (National Defense Appropriations Act) was adopted on a 221 \u2013 209 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.govtrack.us\/congress\/votes\/119-2025\/h212#:~:text=July%252018%252C%25202025%2520at%252012%253A45%2520a.m.%2520ET.%2520On,process%2520occurs%2520in%2520two%2520stages%253A%2520appropriations%2520and%2520authorizations.\"><span class=\"s1\">final passage vote<\/span><\/a>.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>The 2026 NDAA will fund the Defense Department at $832 billion.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">As usual, a minority opposed funding of the Pentagon budget with only <a href=\"https:\/\/clerk.house.gov\/Votes\/2025212\"><span class=\"s1\">three Republicans<\/span><\/a> voting NO on final passage.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>They were GOP Reps. Tim Burchett (Tennessee), Marjorie Greene (Georgia) and Tom Massie (Ky).<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Rep. Greene offered an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.congress.gov\/bill\/119th-congress\/house-bill\/4016\"><span class=\"s1\">amendment<\/span><\/a><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>that would decrease <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=MKsOlS74F_A\"><span class=\"s1\">$500 Million<\/span><\/a> in military aid to Israeli Nuclear Armed missile defense system (ie Iron Dome). <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Greene added that the US already provides $3.8 Billion annually to Israel in foreign aid and in April, 2024, the US provided an additional \u2018supplemental\u2019 of $8.7 Billion.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The backstory on her amendment<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>is that the <a href=\"https:\/\/rumble.com\/v6wedls-israel-just-bombed-a-catholic-church-and-the-vatican-is-furious-redacted.html?e9s=src_v1_eh_cs&amp;utm_source=newsletter&amp;utm_medium=email&amp;utm_campaign=Redacted%2520News\"><span class=\"s1\">Holy Family Catholic Church<\/span><\/a> in Gaza was bombed by Israel as it was providing refuge for hundreds of Palestinians including children and as the parish priest was injured.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>That amendment failed by an appalling 422 voting No with six voting Aye including only two Republicans (Greene and Massie).<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">Rep. Ken Calvert (R-Calif.), Rep. Betty McColllum (D-Minn) and Zionist Rep. Randy Fine (R-Fla.) all spoke in opposition to Greene\u2019s amendment.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">Rep. Greene introduced a second amendment to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.msn.com\/en-us\/news\/politics\/no-more-assistance-to-ukraine-marjorie-taylor-greene-s-heartless-attempt-to-abandon-ukraine-gets-shut-down-by-bipartisan-opposition\/vi-AA1IQY3p?ocid=BingNewsSerp#details\"><span class=\"s1\">cut all funds<\/span><\/a> from Project Ukraine<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>which had already received $175 billion in direct military and economic aid.<span class=\"s3\"> <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Greene\u2019s America Last amendment would assure that no further US resources will be sent to Ukraine.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>It failed on a <a href=\"https:\/\/clerk.house.gov\/Votes\/2025209\"><span class=\"s1\">76 \u2013 353 vote. <\/span><\/a> <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Reps. McCollum and Rep. Calvert spoke against the amendment while supporting President Trump\u2019s \u2018<i>decisive action\u2019<\/i> to provide new NATO weapons to Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">***<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">In addition to incurring the wrath of President Trump for outspoken comments against the BBB and the bombing of Iran, Rep. Tom Massie has been targeted<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>by the President and<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.msn.com\/en-us\/news\/politics\/maga-ad-distorts-how-massie-diverges-from-trump\/ar-AA1INJft?ocid=BingNewsSerp\"><span class=\"s1\">MAGA Ky<\/span><\/a> which has already spent $1.8 million to defeat Massie in a GOP Kentucky primary.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Never one to hold back, Trump laid it on Massie:<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/trump-blasts-massie-the-worst-republican-congressman-says-hes-seeking-challenger-support\"><span class=\"s1\"><i>I don\u2019t think he does a good job for the country<\/i><\/span><\/a><i>. <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>He\u2019s always a No. I call him Rand Paul Jr. <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span>Nothing<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>constructive at all. <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>He\u2019s just terrible.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Thomas Massie from Kentucky.
