To the great dismay of Koch, the press sided with Donald, and the bad publicity forced him to give in and let Trump renovate the rink.<\/p>\n

Trump finished the rink in record time and thousands of dollars under budget.<\/p>\n

The opening on Nov. 1 was a gala event, with Trump the star of the show.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n

Even though it was a great victory for Trump and New Yorkers, Mayor Koch became his avowed enemy. Here is his opinion of Donald Trump that is fit to print:<\/p>\n

I’ll begin with Donald Trump. What a supreme egotistical lightweight! This was clear to me from our first meeting. To be fair, he did build some good-quality buildings,\u00a0<\/span>but he was such a blowhard<\/span>. The best comment I ever heard about Trump came from Alair Townsend, my deputy mayor for economic development, who said she couldn’t believe Donald Trump if his tongue was notarized. I think the line itself was not original with her, but she found its perfect target.<\/span>\u00a0I thought it was rather disingenuous of Trump to crow that he single-handedly resurrected the ice-skating rink in Central Park in a miraculous way.\u00a0<\/span>(Koch,\u00a0Citizen Koch<\/em>, p. 193).<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

In his autobiography, published in 1992, Koch referred to Trump in the\u00a0PAST TENSE<\/span>, and accused him of trying to name the renovated rink after himself. If Trump was alive, he would have sued Koch for libel . . . and won!!<\/p>\n

During the press conference, the Trump Sikorsky helicopter was switched for an Agusta!!<\/h2>\n

On October 10, 1989, 3 of the top Trump executive in Atlantic City made a trip via a Trump Air Sikorsky S-76 helicopter to New York City for a brief press conference. They landed at the East 61st. heliport, and then were taken via limousine to the Plaza Hotel.<\/p>\n

The press conference was held to promote a boxing match that night between H\u00e9ctor “Macho Man” Camacho and Vinny Pazienza. Donald Trump was to accompany them back on the helicopter because his presence there would guarantee a full house.<\/p>\n

After the news conference at the Plaza hotel, the trio had lunch, and then returned with Donald to the heliport\u2014only to discover that their helicopter was replaced by an Italian made Agusta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 3 executives and Donald Trump were on that helicopter when it crashed!<\/p>\n

But Donald does not seem to care what appointments his gaming division executives have for the afternoon. Rather than bid the trio farewell, he insists on summoning them to an unscheduled meeting in Trump Tower. By the time the meeting commences, it is already too late for the three gaming executives to catch the noon return flight of the<\/span>\u00a0Trump Sikorsky S-76 helicopter<\/span>\u00a0they chartered that morning. As it turns out, the Agusta was just as reliable as the Sikorsky, but that foreign firm could not demand an investigation like the Sikorsky Company. .<\/p>\n

After the crash, the Trump Organization’s finances were in freefall, and Wall St. pundits were predicting that the entire company would go into Chapter 11 bankruptcy. What saved the Trump Organization was a huge infusion of cash from the recently united German Deutsche Bank!<\/p>\n

In 2015, Pope Francis begun using Peter’s MILLIONS to finance Hilllary’s Presidential campaign!<\/h2>\n

Nothing happens in the political realm by accident. After an intense struggle that lasted from 2005 to 2013, Jorge Bergoglio finally forced Pope Benedict XVI to resign.
