Florida Gov.\u00a0Ron DeSantis\u00a0<\/a><\/span>(R)\u00a0assured drivers<\/a>\u00a0in his state they will not be held liable if they hit protesters blocking roadways when they are fearful for their lives.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you\u2019re driving on one of those streets and a mob comes and surrounds your vehicle and threatens you, you have a right to flee for your safety, and so if you drive off and you hit one of these people, that\u2019s their fault for impinging on you,\u201d DeSantis\u00a0told podcaster<\/a>\u00a0Dave Rubin\u00a0<\/a><\/span>in an episode of \u201cThe Rubin Report\u201d released Wednesday night. \u201cYou don\u2019t have to sit there and just be a sitting duck and let the mob grab you out of your car and drag you through the streets.\u201d<\/p>\n
