Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has warned that rapidly developing forest fires near Jerusalem could reach the city. Israeli emergency services are on high alert after several devastating fires broke out, mostly west of Jerusalem, the largest in recent years, leaving several people with minor injuries.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe west wind can easily push the fire toward neighborhoods on the outskirts of Jerusalem and even toward the city itself,\u201d Netanyahu said in a video released by his office.\u201d This is what the Italian state TV RAI News website reports.<\/p>\n
The blazes of a malicious nature broke out after Hamas,<\/strong>\u00a0a jihadist terrorist organization also supported by Iran in defense of the cause of liberation of occupied Palestine, launched an unequivocal appeal on their social channels:\u00a0\u201cBurn everything!\u201d<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
The Jerusalem district fire chief says the ongoing fires could be the largest in Israel\u2019s history and that it will take some time before the flames are put out.<\/p>\n
