We are witnessing something extraordinary.<\/strong>\u00a0After decades of denial, deflection, and derision, the U.S. executive branch\u2014through the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)\u2014has formally opened a federal inquiry into geoengineering activities carried out by a private startup,\u00a0Make Sunsets<\/strong>. The letter, issued April 14th by the Office of Air and Radiation, demands detailed disclosures on the company’s deployment of\u00a0sulfur dioxide into the atmosphere<\/strong>\u2014a controversial solar radiation modification (SRM) tactic long derided as conspiracy when spoken aloud by the public.<\/p>\n \u201cThe EPA is evaluating whether Make Sunsets is subject to the Clean Air Act by adversely impacting air quality.\u201d Lee Zeldin, the director of the EPA,\u00a0posted the OAR update to his X account yesterday<\/a>. This is the first indication that the EPA is taking seriously the growing, nationwide concern over what\u2019s happening to our skies, and the public health and environmental fallout.<\/p>\n For years, the idea that the sky was being tampered with\u2014altered through weather and climate modification experiments\u2014was taboo, ridiculed as tinfoil territory. But as I documented in\u00a0\u201cWe\u2019ve Crossed the Tipping Point\u201d<\/a>,<\/strong>\u00a0this narrative is now rapidly transforming. The public is waking up. State legislatures, like in Florida and Tennessee, are proposing and passing bills to ban or criminalize these practices. And at the federal level, political courage is rising.<\/p>\n This inquiry follows the growing executive-level momentum I discussed in\u00a0\u201cExecutive Momentum is Building\u201d<\/a><\/strong>, where leaders like RFK Jr. are signaling an end to unaccountable, corporate-backed atmospheric experimentation.<\/p>\n This week,\u00a0Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier<\/strong>\u00a0echoed the federal action, praising Senator\u00a0Ileana Garcia\u2019s legislation<\/strong>\u00a0aimed at stopping climate engineering in the Sunshine State:<\/p>\n \u201cThe Free State of Florida\u2019s economy is built on sunshine. This activity is exactly what Ileana Garcia\u2019s legislation will prevent.\u201d<\/strong> The coordination between federal and state action is unprecedented. The sky is becoming a political\u2014and ethical\u2014battleground. And Make Sunsets may just be the first domino to fall.<\/p>\n Amid the celebration, it\u2019s important to include critical voices like\u00a0Jim Lee<\/strong>, founder of\u00a0ClimateViewer<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0and one of the most respected independent researchers of atmospheric modification. Jim offers a sobering counterpoint: while the EPA\u2019s letter is a step forward, it may ultimately be more\u00a0symbolic rather than systemic<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Lee views Make Sunsets as a relatively harmless distraction compared to the\u00a0enormous, ongoing pollution caused by global aviation<\/strong>, which releases\u00a0millions of tons of sulfur compounds annually<\/strong>, forming heat-trapping cirrus clouds.<\/p>\n Lee further cautions that\u00a0states cannot legally regulate airspace<\/strong>, and that the federal laws currently on the books\u2014like the\u00a0Weather Modification Reporting Act<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a015 CFR 908<\/strong>\u2014are outdated and largely\u00a0unenforceable<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Despite these limitations, Lee ultimately embraces the opportunity to redirect public focus toward\u00a0verifiable science<\/strong>\u00a0and meaningful reform:<\/p>\n \u201cNow that I\u2019m thinking about it, this is a huge win. Imagine a world where chemtrail people start talking about sulfur finally. That is actually geoengineering, after all.\u201d<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n Lee also pointed out that Make Sunsets is just one of a vast web of solar geoengineering entities with multi-billion dollar funding from both private and public sources. He stated:<\/p>\n \u201cI hope the focus on Make Sunsets leads to opening a discussion not only about aviation pollution, but the global network of geoengineering research, development, and deployment.\u201d<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n <\/p>\n Whether symbolic or seismic, this moment is real. The EPA\u2019s inquiry into Make Sunsets marks a\u00a0rupture in the thick cloud of denial<\/strong>\u00a0that has long hovered over geoengineering and atmospheric modification. For decades, those raising questions about the manipulation of our skies were met with ridicule. Now, the federal government is not only acknowledging the practice\u2014but investigating it.<\/p>\n This shift invites a deeper conversation\u2014not just about climate control technologies<\/strong>, but about\u00a0who holds the authority to alter the biosphere<\/strong>. Will our future be dictated by unelected technocrats and private startups, or shaped by\u00a0informed, sovereign citizens<\/strong>\u00a0demanding transparency and consent?<\/p>\n That question is being answered boldly in Florida.<\/strong><\/p>\n Over\u00a063,000 Floridians have already emailed lawmakers<\/strong>, flooding the State Affairs Committee with more public comments than any other issue in recent memory\u2014more than double what similar federal-level efforts have generated<\/strong>. The message is resounding:\u00a0Florida is done with weather modification. The bill will be heard tomorrow at the state capitol, and\u00a0Global Wellness Forum<\/a>\u00a0representatives will be there.<\/strong><\/p>\n \ud83d\udc49\u00a0Take action now to defend Florida\u2019s skies<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n But this isn\u2019t only Florida\u2019s fight.<\/strong><\/p>\n Across the U.S., unauthorized atmospheric operations are being carried out under the guise of “climate mitigation\u2019; moreover,\u00a0aviation-induced artificial clouds<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0contaminated with metals and combustion byproducts constitutes a massive health and environmental toxicity problem that needs to be addressed with equal concern and urgency. These acts\u00a0occur without transparency, consent, or congressional oversight<\/strong>, risking our health, agriculture, sovereignty, and national security.\u00a0Thirty-two states<\/strong>, including Tennessee and Florida, are rising up\u2014but they cannot do it alone – and there are more on the way, including California, Oregon, and Colorado to name but a few.<\/p>\n
